Barcelona Beaches. Spend a good day on the beach

Barcelona is a fantastic city, one of the most visited tourist destination. Attracts not only by the huge number of magnificent monuments and beautiful places, but also its excellent location – just off the coastline, with direct access to the Mediterranean.

Located along the coast, there are seven beaches with a total length of 4.5 kilometers. The largest, oldest and most frequented this beach of Sant Sebastia and Barceloneta. The others four: Nova Icaria, Bogatell, Nova Mar Bella and Llevant are located on the opposite side of Olympic Port and extend to lengths of 400 to 640 meters. They were created during the rebuilding of the city before the Olympic Games in 1992.
