Barcelona Tourist Bus information:

Imagine missing the biggest sights in Barcelona just because you do not know  them?  Well, this guide will help you solve this situation showing  you the main ones: The Gothic Quarter, Olympic Village, Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, Poble Espanyol, just by hop on the bus, hop off at the sight that interests you and go on another bus to the next sight. This service is excellent because it offers the ease of knowing the different sights  in greater detail, being a good option for the elderly and even for those  who want to know Barcelona in depth. The guide is done in 7 different languages.

The Tourist Bus has 44 stops along three routes: Red Route, Blue Route & Green Route.

You can get on and off as many times as you like along the journey. This way, once you have visited those places you have been interested for, you can catch the next bus and continue the route. Just with the same ticket! On board, there is a tourist information guide who announces the stops in different languages and helps you to make the most of your visit. You will also receive a complete information guide leaflet, in six languages, about the tourist attractions at each Barcelona Bus Turístic stop.

Barcelona Tourist Bus Timetables

The first buses from Red and Blue routes are at most of the stops from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Last ones depart from Plaça de Catalunya at 7:00 p.m. in winter (November to March) and at 8:00 p.m. in summer (April to October).

Both, Red and Blue routes last about 2 hours and they run daily all year round, except December 25th and January 1st.

The first buses from Green route depart from Port Olímpic and Fòrum stops at 9:30 a.m.

During the year 2008, the Green route will run between March 14th and September 28th.

Bus frequency

Buses run every 5 to 25 minutes, according to the season.

With the two-day ticket you get better in price and convenience: Forget the stress by trying to see everything in just one day

Where can they be purchased?

You can buy them on board the Tourist Bus, at the Barcelona tourist information centers and Sants Station and at TMB costumer service centres and you can also buy it Online.

When buying tickets in advance, keep in mind that they are no longer valid after December 31st.
